    Our story

    Twofold isn’t just a name. It’s how we work. Two perspectives sharpen ideas. Two skillsets balance strategy and delivery. Two minds stay curious, ask questions and see what others might miss.

    When you work with Twofold, you get two highly experienced professionals with deep expertise across strategy, communication and delivery. Partners who bring double the clarity and momentum to your most ambitious work.

    Our partnership began in 2016 leading communication for a high-stakes digital health transformation. It grew through major mergers and leadership roles across communication and brand teams. In 2023 we started Meri Communication before rebranding as Twofold in 2025.

    Emma Mellon

    Emma specialises in brand, content and digital strategy for organisations navigating complex change. She brings more than 20 years' experience in health, government, utilities, legal and regulatory sectors.

    She partners with executives to design systems and frameworks that build trust and engagement. She expertly bridges the gap between strategic intent and seamless execution, leading with energy to build strong teams and outcomes.

    Emma holds a Bachelor of Journalism and Graduate Certificate in Business Communication from Queensland University of Technology.

    Laura Richards

    Laura brings people together around change. She has worked across government, health and social impact sectors, aligning teams, engage stakeholders and moving with confidence through complexity.

    With more than 20 years’ experience in communications and marketing, Laura combines strategic insight with strong relational instincts. She has held board-level leadership positions and brings structure, clarity and momentum to every project she leads.

    Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations) from RMIT University.
